오랫만에 필리핀 시티오 뿔로 마을 이야기로 돌아왔습니다.

필리핀은 우기가 되면 비가 많이 오는데요.
시티오 뿔로 마을처럼 가난한 동네는 저지대가 많아
특히 물에 항상 잠기는 피해를 겪으며 삽니다.
이번 우기에도 여지없이 큰 비가 내려
마을은 허리까지 물에 잠겨 버렸어요.
한 번 물에 잠기면 최소 5개월 이상은 물이 빠지지 않아서 이곳 주민들과 아이들은
물위에서 생활해야 하는 불편함을 감수하며 지냅니다.
그럼에도 항상 즐겁고 해맑은 아이들을 보면 마음이 안타까운 것은 어쩔수 없네요.
