오랫만에 필리핀 시티오 뿔로 마을 이야기로 돌아왔습니다.
꿈지기 여러분들의 후원으로 정기적인 도움을 주고 있는 마을입니다.
필리핀은 우기가 되면 비가 많이 오는데요.
시티오 뿔로 마을처럼 가난한 동네는 저지대가 많아
특히 물에 항상 잠기는 피해를 겪으며 삽니다.
이번 우기에도 여지없이 큰 비가 내려
마을은 허리까지 물에 잠겨 버렸어요.
한 번 물에 잠기면 최소 5개월 이상은 물이 빠지지 않아서 이곳 주민들과 아이들은
물위에서 생활해야 하는 불편함을 감수하며 지냅니다.
그럼에도 항상 즐겁고 해맑은 아이들을 보면 마음이 안타까운 것은 어쩔수 없네요.
저희가 준비해 간 꿈지기 분들의 후원 선물을 나누며
힘든 상황에서도 항상 긍정적이고 웃음을 잃지 않는
아이들에게서 희망과 기적을 봅니다.
